Never in Wombat have we seen anything like this. So many teams, flat out going for a ring this year. I like to think our new playoff structure has a ton to do with this, which overall is a good thing. With 10 games left on the schedule, ANYTHING could just about happen. Even Matt losing his AWL division lead. Yeah, Matt, you heard me. #FuckYouMatt #LetsKillMatt #MurderMatt
Dong of the Week:
I want to see someone pull this off on Bumgarner, sooooo bad.
Transaction of the Week:

Kev Bombs:
Kyle Gibson SP | MIN - Traded from Sittin' Ducks
J.D. Martinez DH | BOS - Traded from Sittin' Ducks
Sittin' Ducks:
Masahiro Tanaka SP | NYY - Traded from Kev Bombs
Byron Buxton CF | MIN - Traded from Kev Bombs
Framber Valdez SP | HOU - Traded from Kev Bombs
Jay Bruce RF | PHI - Traded from Kev Bombs
Frankie Montas got hit by the proverbial meteor that Zach wished on him for so long, so a move had to be made. Cashing in one of his biggest chips in JD Martinez, he got back some big pieces in Tanaka and Buxton. Both have very high highs and very low lows, so Zach is betting big here. Meanwhile, Kev was able to afford letting Tanaka go with Severino and Carrasco likely back in the next month.
For Kev: A- (Buxton could haunt him)
For Zach: B+ (Buxton could haunt him)

Dan's Cultural Recommendation of the Week:
Yes, I'm apparently back to doing this. Jon was given a full week to finish the video he said was 90% done, as of last week...and still missed his deadline. What a trash bag of a human he is. Anyway, watch this:
Best show I've ever seen on Netflix. Full stop.
Games of the Week:
AWL: Pez Sox @ Kev Bombs
Last week was brutal for both of these teams, who lost by the closest of margins. Despite that, I personally would rank them, at least on paper, as the best two teams in the AWL. Expect a slugfest this week, I'll predict 25 plus bombs between the two of them.
NWL: Two Starts @ Time Consumers
The division leaders face off again, post pick deadline. They're both pretty much at full strength, so this is an interesting matchup. Dean put on his big boy manager pants and decided to sit Goldy this week, due to unfavorable matchups. We'll see how that works our for him.
