Wombat Simulation - September standings, highlights and awards

- R.A. Dickey (Two Starts) tore his rotator cuff, and promptly announced his retirement from the game. Coming out of the bullpen for the Two Starts he pitched 85.1 innings with a 3.80 ERA and 0.96 WHIP, striking out 91.

- The race for the AL East cooled off some, with the Cold Notes falling off the map after being neck and neck with the other leaders all year. Meanwhile, the Ham Sandwiches managed to lose their division. Awesome. Just awesome.

- Two days before the playoffs start, Chris Carpenter (Crab Cakes) was diagnosed with shoulder tendinitis and doctors believe he'll be out 2 weeks.

- With the regular season done, you can see league leaders below, as well as award winners. Will be posting playoff round recaps soon.
