Wombat Simulation - August standings and highlights

- August saw Robbie Ray (Time Consumers) go out with a strained oblique, on the shelf for 6 weeks.

- Dan Uggla (Kaidens Krew) thus far has 30 bombs and a .273 average. I honestly forgot he even existed until I did the research for this.

- Matt Carpenter (Two Starts) .331 15 bombs, 40 doubles, 7 triples, and is 2nd in WAR with 6.7 so far on the season. Solid D at 1B and 2B, he's a key figure in the dominant Two Starts.

- As a "rookie" (meaning his prime WAR year was during his actual rookie year) Matt Chapman (Ham Sandwiches) has hit 30 bombs so far, with a .566 slugging. I assumed he'd be on the bench the majority of the year, but he's looked great.

- Roy Oswalt (Two Starts) has a league leading 16 wins so far, with a 3.03 ERA.

- One more no hitter, and a perfect game - old man John Smoltz (Two Starts) went the distance, striking out 5 and walking 2 against the MoonSchatz. Meanwhile, King Felix (Megalomaniacs) went all 9, giving up no hits/walks and striking out 15 Crab Cakes. He never got over me trading him away in his prime for Kevin Gausman. Sigh.
