Top selling Wombat merchandise

A quick look at who sells the most merchandise in the WLB..

1. Megalomaniacs

Lakers. Cowboys. Duke. Megalomaniacs. The teams of bandwagon fans everywhere. The Megas fan base is massive, with some core supporters, but also sporting a huge percentage of fans who only know the names of popular players like Cabrera, Felix, and Machado. Ask them who was the Megas starting third basemen when they first won a ring? They have no clue. Neither do I really, but that’s beyond the point.

2. Kev Bombs

If the Megas are this league’s Yankees, the Kev Bombs are, properly so, this league’s Red Sox. The players, the history with the Megas, and of course, a rocky history until recently, when they became a power house. If the Kev Bombs can clinch the league's first "dynasty", they may even overtake the #1 spot on this list.

3. Crab Cakes

The fight for #1 and #2 merch sales in the NWL is very close, with the top overall performers in each league. What gives the Crab Cakes an edge over the Killer Pandas though? Not being so god damn boring with black and white for colors.

4. Killer Pandas

Lots of throwback sales help their merch sales, as you’ll see Prince Fielder, Matt Holliday, and Troy Tulowitzki jerseys each time you visit Bamboo Park. Fan favorite Pablo Sandoval outsells all of them though, as Kung Fu Panda is unofficially the team’s second mascot.

5. Baseball Furies

Despite their history of losing, the Furies have a very loyal fan base. They’re considered lovable losers in the same way the Cubs were for so many years. It also helps that their jerseys double as the uniform of the Furies gang, based out of New York. Next time you see a huge gang fight in the street, count how many Chris Davis jerseys you see.
