Jon’s Random Thoughts, Week 5 Edition

AL:

• Sonny Graywind is good. REAL good. Kudos to Dan.

• Jesse Chavez is better; with more Ks, less walks, a lower WHIP, RP elgibility, and the fact that he was picked up as a free agent rather then being drafted in the 2nd round. Suck it, Dan.

• The days of sleeping on Brian Dozier are over. Mega magic strikes again!

• Despite giving up 24 hits and 12ER in his last 17.2 IP, Chris Archer remains unavailable. C'mon duuuuuuuuuuuude!

• Alexei Ramirez is 4th on the player rater, and Michael Brantley is 12th. George Springer sits at 501, hitting .181 in 55AB.

NL:

• In Week 4 the Killer Pandas had a 1.66ERA and .094WHIP in 48.2IP. They lost both categories. Those Mofos really are legendary...

• The Han Solo shots are one loss away from tieing their worst start ever (0-5 in 2010). They face the Tommy Johns who are one win away from having their best start ever (they have never started a season 4-1.)

• Charlie Blackfish, Neil White Walker, Michael Cuddyerwolf... fantasy baseball will never be the same. Giancarlo Stannis? ...ok so BCovs better at it then me WHATEVER.

• Huge 5for5 trade between the Shots and Johns, right before they play each other no less. GM NickG jumpstarted talks by updating his On the Block.... On the Block making a comeback!

• Current pitchers ranked higher than Aaron Harang as of today: Jose Fernandez, Zach Grienke, Julio Tehran
